Andrea Piorkowski grew up swimming in the Midwest. She joined her first summer league team at age 4 and fell in love with competitive swimming. Throughout high school and college, Andrea taught swim lessons and was a summer league coach. She finished out her swimming career at the University of Illinois, eventually transferring to Baylor University where she graduated with her BA. Andrea and her husband Erik, along with their two boys, have called RiverTown home for 8 years. Coach Andrea is looking forward to her seventh season with the RipTides and a fun filled summer working alongside our awesome RiverTown athletes and coaches.
Coach Kathy has been a long time coach of the Jacksonville area and currently coaches both the RipTides and at The Bolles School. She has a passion for education and currently teaches second grade. She enjoys riding her bike, spending time with her dog, and traveling with her husband. Coach Kathy is excited for her fourth year with the RipTide swim family.
Madi Duff is a second-year coach for the RiverTown Riptides, but has been immersed in the world of swimming since she was little. While swimming competitively in high school, she began coaching summer league for the Cecil Field Pirates, and then coached in Gainesville for High Tide Aquatics while attending college. Most recently, Madi was an assistant coach for The Bolles School as a developmental coach for the middle school group. Madi has three sons (aged 6, 3, and 1) and a new baby girl.
